🎄Fabulous Christmas Fun!…..🎄
We had a fabulous fun sing together when we met on Halloween 🎃
📕📗📘📙Also, This is a post from Cllr Andrew Kennedy….
”I was very pleased when Helen, the Tesco (Lunsford Park) Community Champion, invited me to nominate a local voluntary group to be the beneficiary from their Christmas Book Exchange.
Tesco shoppers will know that at the front of the store there is a book area where shoppers can pick up a second hand book in exchange for a donation. the money collected is donated to a local charity.
After a great deal of consideration, I have nominated Healing Voices based at Ditton Community Centre and run by the amazing Kathryn Ridgeway.
Healing Voices does amazing work locally with up to 100 people participating in community singing and mindfulness. They support people coping with bereavement, loneliness and social isolation- and helping members regain confidence and make new friends. When I last attended to present them with a cheque to buy new song books, I met people from Larkfield, East Malling, West Malling, Wateringbury, Ditton, Aylesford, Eccles, Burham and Maidstone. I am full of admiration for what they do.
so if you shop in Tesco, please pick up a book and make a donation in the sure knowledge that your money will be going to a local voluntary group that does great work in our community.”
Thank you to Margaret for leading us in making origami love hearts during our singing session on 29th February❤️

Fantastic singing workshop in November at All Saints Church! Thank you to Chaz Bedford for these lovely photos of the workshop and Healing Voice members leading everyone in a rousing sing song of Sweet Caroline 🎉
Thank you to all those who sang in our recording of ‘Thank you for Being a Friend’ as part of Dementia Awareness in July. Many thanks to Paul for recording this for us….
In March we were awarded £300 for resources from Andrew Kennedy, a Kent Mental Health Champion. Chas Bedford took some wonderful photos of the session. 😊
